Leaving all of the other stuff I've said in other threads. One thing I think the current team we have can do is have the coaching staff tell Ray-D that he needs to take over. Call me crazy, but I think he has a level he is just not going to.
He seems almost too unselfish at times in the sense that he doesn't want to take shots away from the old guys. TJ and Byrd are good players, but he needs to admit to himself that he is just as good as they are and deserves to take as many shots as them. If he starts doing that, we will increase our balance slightly which should as a result make our offense better.
We've seen flashes of what he can do (specifically against Notre Dame), but Ray-D doesn't bring it consistently. I believe for this current team to get to their maximum potential, Davis is going to have to be the guy that gets them there. That is a lot to ask a Freshman to do, but he seems to be the key at least in my opinion.
