Three coaches to consider to replace Painter

Three coaches I can think of that are affordable by Purdue standards and are able to recruit and coach are:
Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State

Steve Alfred, New Mexico

Kevin Stallings, Vanderbilt (Purdue alumnus)

I'm sure there are others.

It's time to cut the cord on Matt Painter. Same offense and same defense as Keady. Give someone else a chance for six or seven years. See if they can get us to a final four. I don't care if we have to switch coaches every five years. In the last year or so we have been beaten by IU, Butler, and Notre Dame (gag!). Thank God we didn't play Indiana State this year. I'm tired of Painter blaming the players. College coaches aren't members of the faculty. They don't get tenure. Thank God we can get rid of them. Watch attendance the rest of the season. It's gonna go down. They're boring to watch and no fun to root for. Put a product on the floor or get the heck out. College coaching is a fraternity. Don't feel sorry for Painter. He'll get another job or commentate on ESPN. They take care of their own.. W e need to find the hot hand. Keep rolling the dice till we come up a winner.
