Purdue looks to move over .500 at the halfway mark of the Big Ten.
Purdue needs to take care of business today. Despite everything, a victory would put the Boilers at 5-4 halfway through the Big Ten season, which is much higher than everyone thought before the conference season began. it also keeps hope alive for a postseason berth somewhere. Purdue likely needs to go at least 5-5 the rest of the way to reach the NIT, and that means 9-9 overall in the conference. A road win over Northwestern would go a long way toward that record, so let's get it done.
