An ESPN blogger has called Purdue fans out for our reaction to the "punch". He says because neither team addressed it that it didn't happen. I highly doubt Painter or Carrol would come out and talk about this because Purdue doesn't do that. Izzo and Dawson aren't going to being it up on their own either, as they hope this just dies down.
I find it amusing that he is taking that stance after the way they blew the Jared Sullinger "I got spit on" fiasco up. In that case their was no evidence except one whiny player. While in this instance there is a video that shows something happened. At the very least Dawson taunted Carrol.
But of course ESPN picks and chooses their topics to cover. I can guarantee if Zeller and IU wre In the same position Carrol and Purdue were put in this would be blown up by ESPN. Purdue fans will continue to "freak out" until the media decides to actually cover our stories.
