According to nbadraft.net , he is projected to go #18 to the Boston Celtics.
A couple things here. First, or course he's projected to go to the Celtics. Where else would a Boilermaker go? Secondly, the fact that he's already being projected so high and has barely scraped the surface of his potential makes me think we need to start recruiting centers for the 2014 class badly. It's so enjoyable watching this team play because of what he brings to the table. I think if he was on the team last year, we could have seen the Boilers make a good run in the tournament. The biggest thing we were missing last year was a decent big man/shot blocker. Frankly, we could have been a final four team (KU went to the championship game and we only lost to them by 2). I really don't see him lasting more than two years, but I hope I'm wrong. To be honest, I think it's possible that he could be a late first round pick after this year.
Really hoping Painter can convince him to stick at school until at least his junior year. By then, he could easily be a top 10 pick.
