Hate to say it, but it was kind of a mediocre weekend for Purdue Volleyball overall. Beating Cincinnati in their home stadium is nice, but getting swept by Louisville is not encouraging, and it definitely shows that this team has some room to grow before reaching its potential. With that in mind, this team should probably be treated as a work in progress with a high ceiling moreso than a finished product ready made to win the B1G. I wasn't able to make it to Cincinnati to see the games, but I did go out and collect some different viewpoints on what happened this weekend, so with no more rambling from me I give you your Purdue Volleyball Weekend Links.

Ariel Turner came out and avenged the Boilermakers' loss to Louisville by serving up 18 kills, 13 digs, and 7 (!!!) aces

Anna Drewry and Ariel Turner led the team with 9 kills apiece which may explain to you why Purdue wasn't able to pull this one out. The trend for Purdue this season seems to be that they struggle getting around teams with above-average blockers.
