I reached out to an old high school friend of mine who is one of the current head coaches in the America East Conference where Jake O'Brien played at Boston University and asked him whether he thought Jake O'Brien was good enough to play at Purdue. His response to me was the following: "Jake O'Brien, when healthy, can do some good things, even at Purdue - stretches you as a 4-man because of his shooting."
