Being the old school Purdue fan that I am, I'll be there watching some of my favorite Purdue warriors on Augusts 4th at Mackey! And with Keady on the sidelines it should be a great time. Some players slated are Brandon Brantley, Brian Cardinal, Tarrance Crump, Carson Cunningham, Todd Foster, Keaton Grant, Marcus Green, Matt Kiefer, Chris Kramer, Carl Landry, Troy Lewis, Kenneth Lowe, Todd Mitchell, Bobby Riddell, Ryne Smith, David Teague and Mark Wohlford.

However I find it a bit disappointing that we were not able to attract other notable players from the past, especially Glenn Robinson AKA "Big Dog". Some others that also come to mind are, Steve Scheffler, Cuonzo Martin, Steve Reid, Tony Jones, Everette Stephens, Jaraan Cornell, Jimmy Oliver, Brad Miller, Jim Rowinski and my all time favorite, Ricky Hall. Some are probably out of shape and or busy with work (Cuonzo). And it would NOT be an All Star game without the best shooter in the history of baksetball period, Rick Mount! They could even have some sort of event bringing back the older players as well like JBC, Terry Gilbert Dischinger, Dave Schellhase and yes, even Frank Kendrick would be epic.

I ALSO propose a RIVAL ALL-STAR GAME! Putting together a game of Purdue All-Starts against an I.U. All-Star team to generate money for some charity venued at the Pacers Fieldhouse . Can you imagine watching Glenn head-to-head with Jay Edwards? That would be AWESOME!
