Not sure if anyone cares about AAU . But seems like many get hung up on who is ranked and where . Well for scouts the rankings come mainly from the AAU tourney's. Why because they can see hundreds of players in a few days . The tourney in Milwalkee was great for Purdue committ Kendall Stephens he led his team in scoring in 4 of the five games they played . Scoring 24 win.13 win. 15 win. 14 win. and was held to 10 in their only loss . He rebounded very well and defended at a high level . Over all he starred for the wolves and every Scout I read had him as an elite player . His length created a huge match up problem for opposing teams . Several tweets were about the fact that he created his own shot then knocked it down . In one game he had 4 blocked shots and 3 steals . His team came up one game short of the championship game . They were expected to go out in the first round . Not taking anything away from the rest of his team but Kendall clearly stepped up . Expect him to move way up the rankings another showing like this he'll get his 5th star .
Keita Bates - Diop 16u and Jordan Ash 15u both have led their teams to the championship game . And both have starred in doing so . Scout .Com calling Keita a Top 5 talent . While a dunk by Jordan was said to be the best play in the tourney . I will update the finals for them on this post on Monday .
Many were comparing Kendall to http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/4239/evan-turner Hell I'll take that . They do look alot alike and have same body . Really a great comparison ! WOW !
