When the 2012 NFL Draft ended, there was a sense of accomplishment and relief among fans of the Miami Dolphins. General manager Jeff Ireland and head coach Joe Philbin had crafted a seemingly successful draft, and the Dolphins had filled several holes on the roster, while positioning the team for long term success with the drafting of Ryan Tannehill to be the team's "franchise" quarterback. But, while fans and the media seemed to relax with the ending of the Draft, the Dolphins were just getting started.
