I remember Matt Painter once said that it's difficult for the home team to play on senior night b/c of all the emotions. Your mindset is not focused on the game. It makes sense, but I want some some empirical evidence. So I do a little digging and of the six teams that already had their senior nights, only ONE - yes, ONE - managed to pull off a W, and that's us. O$U, Michigan, NW, Ill, Neb all fell at home on senior night. It is a small sample, but considering how difficult it is to win on the road in the B1G, that is quite an impressive stat.

Bottom line, if the stat holds, I like our chances on Sunday! BTFU! :-)
