Now that we have an open scholarship for the 2012 season due to Barlow, is there someone who we can find for the team who can help us immediately next year? Anyone know of any players that will be able to transfer at the end of the year similar to what happened with MSU & Brandon Wood? What about a JUCO player?

With who we have & coming in I think the biggest question mark will be the power forward position. Since it would only be a 1 year deal most likely, it would be nice to get someone who could help teach the younger guys while at the same time be a solid contributor. While it's nice to give the scholly to a walk-on like we did this year, I really hope we don't give up and not even try to get some use out of it by not looking around. I guess if anything, a positive would be that there is enough time to start looking at players now instead of having last year's problem with Brandon Wood, where a scholarship didn't open up until after he made his choice.


BTW, that really sucks about Barlow. I think he was our most improved player and I was really starting to like him. His driving & finishing potential was really starting to show lately. Why does it seem like every year something majorly bad happens with this team?!
