I didn't see this posted but I might of missed it, but it was just announced that Purdue is going to be talking part in the Old Spice Classic next year. That might not sound like a big deal but the other team that were announced include LSU, Memphis, Oklahoma State, St. Joesph's, Seina, and Washington State. That is a very, very solid group of teams and will pretty much promise Purdue a chance for a big win or two.
No matter who Purdue's plays it will be a solid early season test for another young team next year. Personally I think we should be excited about this for a couple reasons, one fo them being that the Old Spice Classic is one of the premier early season tournaments and for Purdue to be included means that the program has gained national attention. Also no matter who Purdue plays they will get a very very solid text and can hopefully get a resume win or two out of it.
