There is only one place Purdue needs to be looking to get a replacement for Hope...The South!!! Sure, Butch Jones and Dave Doeren are decent coaches, but Purdue needs a big NAME!! I would be happy with any assistant from any SEC team (No, I don't count Vandy or Kentucky as real SEC football teams). Obviously, the top pick would be Kirby Smart, but I doubt he would come up north. Frank Wilson from LSU would also be tough to get, but would do wonders for the program. If we can't get a top notch SEC assistant, then we need to go after Sonny Dykes (La. Tech) or Gus Malzahn (Ark. St.). Purdue needs to give it's fans and recruits something to be excited about and I'm afraid hiring Spack, Jones, or Doeren just isn't going to cut it.
