Last year's game in the Boiler Box was one of the many highlights in Mackey Arena Re-dedication Weekend. Starting with Purdue whipping on NIU on 11/11/11, Marve's game winning touchdown against Ohio State in overtime, and ending with the Women's team destroying some small school. Then there was Purdue Volleyball, who probably had the biggest match up compared to everyone else, as Purdue had cracked the Top 10 recently and Nebraska was #2 in the country at the time.

For those who hardly follow volleyball and saw this as their first volleyball game, they would have thought Nebraska was a bottom feeder as Purdue SWEPT the Cornhuskers without much trouble. The Boiler Box was rocking almost the whole night, and Purdue rode the momentum from the start to pull off the impressive upset.

Tonight, Purdue looks to repeat history as #4 Nebraska comes into town. It should be a great game, and will set the tone for the rest of the weekend.

The game airs live on BTN at 8pm.
