Last year I posted on how I think Purdue needed to improve their football team. The very first item was Danny Hope being fired. My post was blasted by many who said I had no idea what I was talking about. Well, here we are again, and once again I call for Hope to be fired. This team, not being the best in the Big Ten, shlould have at least been playing for a bowl game. This year has shown us that just because a coach is a defensive wiz as a D-Coordinator will NOT make him a great coach. He has successfully taken victories away from the team because of his playcalling and his roster management. The biggest example is QB. We have 3 competent QBs on the roster and he can't figure out a way to use them. Marve (a thank you should go to him for wanting to keep coming back to this train wreck) should be the starter. TerBush was and I emphasize WAS a good QB. Hope thinks that if I keep switching them into games at my whim, the opposition woun't be able to defend us. Danny, you misguided Howard Keel wannabe, you have stunted the growth and development of one (TerBush) and you have given the rest of the offense no continuity or leadership needed to win Big Ten games. Danny, do the Boiler nation a favor and just quit. Save yourself the indignity of being fired and just admit you were overwhelmed and walk away.
