Boilermaker Succes

Last night I saw the Celtics were down big late in the first half, so I figured I would flip over and try to watch some of the 3rd and 4th quarters. I figured with the Celtics down by a lot JJ and E’twaun were bound to play. I happily watched E’twaun sink several 3’s down the stretch as he helped lead the comeback.

By the time I checked the message boards, after the game, I noticed there were already multiple posts about E’twaun’s big game. This got me thinking, is there another fan base that loves watching their guys succeed, at the next level, more than we do?

I’m not sure what it is, but we love seeing our guys succeed. Maybe it’s the fact that almost all of our guys are doubted, and we watch them work for 4 years to make themselves better. Maybe it’s the fact that our fan base is so small and selected (almost every fan is an alumni/student) that we feel more connected to our guys. Just curious if anyone else feels like this as well. Boiler Up!
