This makes me think someone got paid from MSU for Dawson.
Just because Izzo doesn’t seem like a snake doesn’t mean there aren’t buyers involved w/ MSU recruiting. I think there is a reason for everything. Maybe Painter brought up the whole camp thing b/c that was the first step down the rabbit hole in the payment of Dawson and or his people. I always thought Izzo ran a tight ship but how many team and coach respect issues has he had in the last few years. It seems like a lot for MSU. We’ve had issues, Painter puts the smack down (Barlow) and it’s done. It seems like Izzo can’t do that now. Even back 10 years ago with Zach Randolph it seemed he didn’t want to listen to Izzo (didn’t respect Izzo) but at the same time “wanted to get better” It’s kinda like watching Blue chips where the players and donors/boosters don’t respect the coach b/c of the money being tossed around almost like the coach at that point is just a pawn.
I think Dawson has resentment and that’s why he acted the way he did. It seemed like he was trying to prove something to Painter whole time, looking over at the Purdue bench after his dunk and then talking smack to Painter. I don’t doubt someone told him lies about Painter such as, he paid Chasson Randle $50,000 to come and he hasn’t offered you anything, and you’re better then him and MSU is going to give us….$$ b/c they love how great you are and really appreciate your talent go there. Kids don’t possess a sense of entitlement, they are taught entitlement and Dawson has it written all over his face.
It’s a whole conspiracy theory but why would Dawson care? I don’t think people especially that young are punks just to be punks there is a reason they are that way. It’s either taught/learned hatred or out of resentment.
Just my opinion but who has gone to that many final fours besides Wooden without cheating?
So Brad Stevens cheated?
who has gone to that many final fours besides Wooden without cheating?
Wooden didn't cheat?
Ever heard of Sam Gilbert? Had this been discovered before the statute of limitations, it is likely that many of Wooden’s titles would have been vacated. Wooden was a great player, wonderful coach and by all accounts a great person, but to think he didn’t cheat is being naive. UCLA was as dirty as they come during their title years.
who has gone to that many final fours besides Wooden without cheating?
Even Wooden had his problems. Ever hear of Sam Gilbert?

Noway
Several coaches do not cheat biggest is coach K. Stevens had no 5 stars. And again the NCAA allows payments to scouting services. Look at Oregon they have NIKE backing them Kentucky has the Pizza guy and Ok. State has T.Boone .It happens alot some legal and some not. Purdue has several backers who would do the same, Shaun Phillips would do whatever is legal to give back to Purdue just to name one.
Why Shaun Phillips?
I’m not sure I follow?

The street agent didn't cost us Chandler
Chandler had really bad grades and Purdue backed off. If its true that there was some street agents involved during his recruitment, I don’t think that is why he choose Louisville over Purdue. His friend Ryan Taylor was also going to Louisville…so if there were street agents, then so be it. He later changed his mind to play with Smith-Rivera at Xavier, then settled on UCF. Smith-Rivera is now a G-Town commit. Straight Cash Homey! Yours Truly, Randy Moss
this
the only reason Central Florida was in the hunt was because of the “street agent” situation. IU, Purdue, Butler, Notre Dame, Illinois and the Michigan’s all backed off recruiting Chandler by the end of it because of his shady situation with grades and income.
A street agent didn’t cost you Chandler, unless you view it in the sense that Purdue and several other major regional schools turned and ran from the situation at hand.

so really in a sense
a street agent saved you from Michael Chandler

I see your point
I really think his grades had a huge impact on teams dropping him. But to your point, someone may have been getting a little change on the side. Play for Play…people continue to talk about it.

I really don't care much for conspiracy theories.
Rampant speculation really gets us nowhere. I have said it before and I will say it again: Extraordinary charges require extraordinary evidence.
