RB Pegram leaves the program
Oh well, at least we still have the Akeems. I wonder why though, after scoring 2 TDs in his last game for us.

That's a huge disappointment
He proved that he can be a special player for us in the future.
Well, best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

Didn't he have only one year left of eligibility?
As long as we actually manage to keep our running backs healthy (for once) this seems more of a depth issue than anything else considering Shavers and Hunt are both above him on the depth chart.

He had two left
He was a true sophomore

Left or Asked to Leave ?
Sounds fishy to me, especially since it references to others that were disciplined.
"Wanted to get closer to home" is fishy?

Or maybe he didn't like his position on the depth chart.

Or maybe he tore his ACL and wanted to be close to home for the surgery.
Yeah, we can play this game all day long.

Per GBI...personal reasons
Pegram said his role on Purdue — playing fullback or running back — was not a factor in his decision to leave.
“I would want to be with the team and play with the team,” Pegram said. “But at the same time, I want to be home, I need to be home.”
“It’s hard because how I played in the bowl game,” said Pegram, who scored 2 TDs for Purdue vs. Western Mich. “But family comes first.”
