Can we get a RB from Bama?
It says Purdue has now thrown its hat in the ring. Maybe his injury is a blessing in disguise (a la Drew Brees)? In any case, it confirms how shady the SEC recruiting is, and I for one don't want us (football or bball) to sink to their level.

Bama fucked this kid over. I see no problem with offering him a chance to play here. As a matter of fact, I’d love a guy with a chip on his shoulder like that, and plus it’s nice to flip Saban the bird. Actually, that should just be a standard operating procedure. Fuck Saban.

Huge chip on that young man’s shoulder, and rightly so. He can come up to West LaLa and pound the rock for us, might even be able to help carry the Boilers back to a B1G title opportunity at some point. It’s certainly a risk worth taking.

DH is looking to fill as many slots possible and this is a chance he is snapping at, if he even is, do we have any scholarship spots open? Maybe a few? DH needs everything he can get and even with that, he is still producing at lower-mid levels of B1G and adding this kid with a ‘chip on his shoulder’ will have minimal effect. Someone always posts every other month that one of the recruits we have has a ‘chip on their shoulder’ from some other program or media providing some negativity.

This is just Saban being an ess eee seee douche. This kid was like the 7th player in his class to commit to Bama but somehow ended up being the one left out when they got commits from other higher ranked players.

Sorry, I think that better reflects what I truly meant. It was more about “can we get” rather than “are we stealing”, and there is no negative connotation with the word “steal” (it’s more like a “steal” as in basketball or a steal as in getting some bargains)
