The next school is the school from the North and in the Legends division, the Minnesota Golden Gophers. I remember when I was in school ('96-'01), we would beat Minnesota in football 52-49 and they seemed to be our equal in not very good football teams. Of course that was pre-Tiller, but even then we had some good battles. That was also the time that our basketball program went from winning B1G titles to being left out of the NCAA tourney. I remember Mackey being packed as we played Minnesota for a chance at the title, and we came out losers. I believe those wins became vacated after the Clem Haskins cheating scandal, which really hurt this team. Now it is the Tubby Smith and Jerry Kill era. So, how do we feel about Minnesota?
