Some Purdue basketball related articles:
Upcoming classes
Painter has secured commitments from 2012 high school graduates Jay Simpson, Rapheal Davis and Ronnie Johnson, and 2013 graduates Derek Willis, Kendall Stephens, Bryson Scott and Basil Smotherman.
Collectively, it's a magnificent seven, at least at this stage of their careers. The Class of 2013 has the potential to be the best since Hummel, Johnson, Moore and Martin.

Jay Simpson articles
Purdue basketball recruit Jay Simpson says he's working on improvements to his game prior to joining the Boilermakers in the fall of 2012.

Hummel news
While he has been given doctor's clearance to play in pickup games after undergoing a second knee surgery last November, Hummel has decided to wait until school starts in August before playing in pickup games. He told Dakich that there's no rush, as the season still is three-plus months away.

Excellent, thanks for the articles
This gets me excited and can’t wait to see the duo:
…(Hummel) had lots of good things to say about freshman forward Donnie Hale and redshirt freshman Anthony Johnson
Gunner Kiel
If Gunner Kiel goes to iu, Harris goes to iu and plays two sports.
If he Gunner doesn’t, then Harris goes elsewhere.
Mark it.
Book it?

Sorry
Have to say Mark It. Around too many fans from down south that insist on saying book it. Saying mark it pisses them off b/c its not douche baggy enough.
Mark it.
yeah, we get that here too

So now that Kiel commits to IU ...
Where is Harris commitment?
Good god...
hasn’t even been 24 hours. Patience.
I think your prediction is just a crap shoot
But for argument sake, who do you see leaving to make room for Harris?
with Crean...
anything is possible. He went back on Capobianco so I think any of them are targets.
so...
how is the recruitments of these two players related in any way? did they make a blood pact back in grade school, saying that if one of them managed to get a football scholarship to IU then they other would do their best to follow? or perhaps there are cosmic forces afoot, some sort of quantum entanglement at work here, forever connecting the careers of two people who have probably never met.
GH has not ruled out the possibility of playing football in college, or playing two sports in college, but he’s not exactly warm on the idea: (from ITH)
“It sounds good to play two sports in college, but that’d be a lot of work," he said. "I know it’s been done, but honestly I’m not sure (if he wants to).”
I love these GH predictions btw. There are only a finite number of possible directions GH could go, and with everybody and their brother out there predicting what’s going to happen, someone is bound to have the correct prediction. And they won’t be correct because they can telepathically communicate with high school basketball players, or because they have access to knowledge no one else does, or even because they’re just smarter than the rest of us. Nope, it’ll just be by chance. So there you go fisters, your prediction has been added to the pool. Best of luck to you.

x2
All these “mark it” (or “book it”) are just plain speculations. Just randomly flipping coins, about half of the ppl will call it right.
However, I wouldn’t give any luck to fisters. I’d hate for him to get lucky on Harris. He already gets his luck on Kiel, so don’t be too greedy :-p
thx for the links
