MSU probably getting Wood, got Fife
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it yet, but MSU got Fife as an assistant coach to round out their staff. I definitely wanted him over our newest pickup, so I am not too happy. However, the big news is that Wood apparently is leaning towards MSU. I would have liked to bring him in because I think we could definitely use him this year since I think our offense is going to be lacking. If someone transfered, and I think we'll have at least 1 , then we could use Wood for a year before that space allows us to sign RJ without being over in '12 and '13 if it is Marcius.

Quite frankly I don't think Wood matters anymore.
Purdue signed Ronnie and offered AJ Hammons. If there’s any spot left its going to a 4 year player.
I have to agree
A previous poster pointed out that Wood was extremely light on D. That was all I needed to hear.

RJ and Hammons
are 2012 players. Wood would only be here for 2011 and would in no way affect that class at all.

Wood
Interesting to see how things work out at MSU.
With as many guards as we have it was a long shot……plus MP would never promise as player anything.
Too bad we couldn't have added Wood
to go along with our Johnsons
