Spring football is here everywhere around the country. Several teams in the Big Ten already had their spring practices, but on Saturday April 9th our Boilermakers get back to work. I'm on campus so I'll be there anyway...and I hope to see some of the H&R people there too. But something will go down next Saturday that hopefully isn't awful...Purdue unveils the new Purdue Pete on the day of the spring game. This was designed by the same people that came up with the "Makers, All" ad campaign, so I can't say I'm not worried. Pete is changing because Burke listened to parents' complaints that he "scared their children" (yet another problem that I have with Burke).
