Zeke Pike, one of the top five QB's in the class of 2012, will announce his decision on Wednesday and Purdue is among his list of favorites.
While there is no reason to be overly optimistic, Purdue is very much in the mix along with Michigan, Auburn, Clemson, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Pike has visited West Lafayette at least 3 times in the last year, which demonstrates that he's giving Purdue serious consideration.
And that's all we can really ask for given Purdue's current state.
Hopefully the allure of being the next great addition to the Cradle of Quarterbacks is enough to tip the scales. We'll know for sure on Wednesday.
