When he's not busy rooting for the home team at Big Ten games, Jim likes to spend some time out East - the Big East that is. Today, Jim was officiating the St. John's vs. Rutgers game. A game in which he officiated for about 39 minutes and 57 seconds. He and the other two officials failed to call two pretty obvious turnovers against St. John's and allowed time to expire.
Now I'm sure none of this comes as a surprise to H&R readers. What may surprise you is that for once his poor officiating is not only obvious to us, but the Big East as well. Watch the video recap over at ESPN. Katz mentions some names of some folks reviewing his status. Had to come out sooner or later. A screw up like this on a big stage will do it every time.
