Basil Smotherman Jr. has given Purdue its second 2013 commitment of the week and third overall, GoldandBlack.com has learned.
The 6-foot-5 guard/forward from Heritage Christian in Indianapolis also drew early offers from Xavier, Illinois, Notre Dame and Indiana.
Smotherman gives Purdue three commitments for what's expected to be a four-player 2013 recruiting class. So, who is going to be our 4th committ in 2013. Im hoping it is Foster from Illinois, or looks like we will be playing a lot of guards. Can we still get Hammonds for 2012 or would someone have to leave?
