There is a lot of debate on whether the past season was a success, I would like to know

#1 - since some people predicted 6-6 would more people have been happy if we had beaten Rice but lost to either Illinois or O$U?

#2 - if this season wasn't a success what is the level Purdue football must achieve to be successful?

Personally I just think the Rice loss poisoned so many people's view of the rest of the season no matter what happened, because it becomes so easy to say no matter what happens we should have 1 more win, especially since it happened so early it shaped some people's perception before our big ten season.
