I may be way off base here, but the picture tied to this article seems a bit strange to me for a few reasons. Regardless of whether or not Burke is actually yelling at the official or if he is just celebrating (which I doubt is the case, but more on this in a bit), why is he standing on the sideline right next to the head coach during a game? I can understand him being on the field, but right next to the coach while play is taking place? Seems a bit odd. Maybe he is trying to help Hope know when to call time outs? Is he the one to blame for the ND/Rice situations? Next, I think it's pretty obvious that he is in fact berating the official. Hope's face is pretty expressionless in the background, along with one other person on the sideline. More than likely, as the caption states, Burke is actually yelling at the Linesman pictured. I can understand the coaches, players, and fans giving the officials of any sport some grief. But a member of the administration? I have NEVER seen that before. Again, maybe I'm succumbing to a lack of sleep during finals week or maybe my brain is fried from taking 3 finals in the past 20 hours. This picture just raised my eyebrow a bit this morning, and I wondered if anyone else had any thoughts on it.
