OK, 8 games in, hard to beleive a quarter of the regular season is over. What is everyone's take on the rotation. I think optimally the team needs to geared more towards more of and 8/9 man rotation. As the recovering injured get their legs back we shouldn't need the deep bench. Here's what I see.
Maximize Time Players(30+ minutes):
Hummel - Mr. Everything, does it all well
Barlow - Mr. Everything minus 3 point shooting
Jackson - distributor, penetrator, scorer...defensive liability against bigger guards
2nd Wave(20+ minutes)
Smith - Offensive 3 point shooting juggernaught Defensive liability against bigger or faster gaurds
Lawson - Mr. athletic great rebounding, defense, and interior scoring...hasn't showen outside shot yet
.3rd Wave(10+ minutes)
Marcius - Most Beef on the team
Terone Johnson - Balanced player getting better as the season goes
Anthony Johnson - Balanced player still finding his niche in the offense - liability against stronger gaurds
Under Ten
Carrol - Offensively brings a good IQ...way to hesistant and non-physical to score inside consistently, defensively can handle non-athletic bigs welll
Byrd - Can be a spark plug...not consistent offensive threat Defensive liability against bigger/stronger forwards and against faster gaurds(no lateral quickness)
Hart - Streaky shooter offensively, defensively slower then the Johnson's
Anthrop - Good shooter but limited elsewhere
What does everyone else think?
