Robbie the Barbarian
Between the time of Keady’s empire and the rise of the son of Hammons, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this age, Robbie was born, destined to bear the jeweled crown of the NCAA upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of his high adventures.

Robert of the Hummel Clan was born is the mysterious & frostbitten realm known only as "The Region."
It was here where through strict patience and mental fortitude he learned the riddle of basketball. He honed his craft until his skills were known from the mountains in the east to the fields of the west. It was late in his formative years when he began his tutelage under the wise and powerful Master Painter. It was the beginning of a glorious age when success was found as a youngling. Robbie along with his new compatriots blazed a path or triumph through their enemies. Many were those who dwelt in the inky shadows, who were quick to dismiss him as a "fluke", as a "role player."

But to those who fought beside him, he was a leader without equal! They would follow him to the bowels of Hades itself and slay its ferocious inhabitants.

But the path of the warrior is not without its hardships. Many are the troubles a warrior must endure.
Betrayal.

Defeat.

The loss of comrades.
And Pain.

But these are like the forge unto the steel! They ready the warrior, they temper him!
Now watch, as he rises, a phoenix prepared to strike! Great are the challenges that lie before him. The Kingdom as always is fraught with powerful armies.
The warriors of blue and orange from the west.

The surly Spartans from the north.
He must deal with new challengers from the far western provinces.

The return of a rival from the south!

And of course, the towering Titan King to the east who must be overcome to claim glory!
But if these challenges are met then even greater fame can be found in the tournament of champions! Held this year in the far off and mystical land known as New Orleans. But it is there where he can shed the title of just another boilermaker and become the king he was born to be! But this is a tale for another time…
For now he must ready himself.
He must join his brothers in their gold and black armor.

He must rally his howling horde of admirers to his banner.
He must prepare for conquest.
