You can’t move Boise up 4 and then drop Va Tech 10 spots. If you thought it was that big of a win for Boise, then you must think Va Tech is pretty good.
Overall
I think it’s a pretty fair poll at this point. I don’t really know how anybody can rate teams accurately after only 1 week. I do think dropping Va Tech 10 spots was a little too harsh. Boise dominated the line of scrimmage in the game and if they didn’t fumble the ball twice, this game may have never been close. It was pretty much a true road game for Boise too, so I can kind of see a justification for believing in Boise more than Va Tech after watching it.
VT should have tied that game with the blatent pass intereference call at the end, likely pushing the game into overtime.
To me they should drop right above the Gators, no less.
