State of Indiana Division I Football Predictions

Purdue: at ND (L, 31-38), Western Ill (W, Pwnage), Ball State (W, 31-10), Toledo (W, 31-28), at Northwestern (W, 28-21), Minnesota (W, 17-10), at Ohio State (L, 42-28), at Illinois (W, 28-3), Wisconsin (L, 10-13), Michigan (W, 42-14), at Michigan State (L, 17-21), Indiana (W, 35-10). 

In summery I have the front seven stepping up huge against spread or pistol teams, except ND where the tight end will be just too dominate. With an aggressive defense it leaves Purdue open for play action over the middle on the young secondary most of the season. Purdue goes 8-4 taking advantage of a weak schedule plays in the Insight Bowl against Kansas State. 

Notre Dame: Purdue (W, 38-31), Michigan (L, 45-38), at Michigan State (L, 28-14), Standford (W, 21-17), at Boston College (W, 14-10), Pittsburgh (L, 38-10), Western Michigan (W, 45-6), at Navy (W, 24-10), Tulsa (W, 35-14), Utah (L, 21-24), Army (W, 63-10), at USC (W, 14-10)

In summery, Brian Kelly is a good coach that can use the talent ND has right now. They will struggle against the run not unlike Purdue, however, with a skilled secondary they will beat some decent opponents. ND isnt back back...yet. But they go 8-4, finish in the top 25, play Clemson in the Gator Bowl...and win.

Ball State:  SE Missouri State (W, Pwnage), Liberty (W, Pwnage), at Purdue (L, 10-31), at Iowa (L, Destroyed), Central Michigan (L, 10-38), Western Michigan (W, 13-10), Eastern Michigan (W, 17-10), at Toledo (L, 7-34), at Kent State (L, 21-28), Akron (L, 3-10), at Buffalo (L, 10-38), Northern Illinois (L, 0-28)

Nothing personal, you have gotten worse...while the rest of the MAC has gotten better. No defense, and one injury prone weapon weapon on offense...Love ya Lewis, go Snider. In reality 4-8 is generous, you miss a bowl and sadly it looks like its gonna be a long slide over the next few years. 

Indiana: Towson (W, Pwnage), Western Kentucky (W, 28-24), Akron (W, 21-3), Michigan (L, 28-35), at Ohio State (L, 3-35), Arkansas State (W, 14-3), Illinois (W, 21-10)....Good start, this is when it gets ugly. Northwestern (L, 21-28), Iowa (L, 10-31), at Wisconsin (L, 0-14), Penn State (L, 10-21), at Purdue (L, 10-35)

You make a run at starting 4-0, but end up 3-1..dont underestimate Western Kentucky however. Indiana has probably the hardest Big Ten schedule in the conference. You will struggle to stop the power run, and it will show against quality opponents. A heartbreak season at 5-7 is your fate. With a schedule like Purdue, you would of gone 6-6, 7-5.
