Today's profile is on another walk on. It is also another player that may not see the field at all in his Purdue career, but he is still a solid practice player.

Crosby Wright - So.

2010 Projection: Deep bench at tight end.

Crosby is another walk on that is entering his third year on the team. The Management major has yet to see the field outside of practice. Wright is an excellent student, graduating from his high school with a 4.3 GPA and earning academic all-state honors in Illinois. He was also a pretty good basketball player for Carbondale, helping them to state tournament success as a senior.

You have to like a kid like Crosby. He could have stayed home and gotten more playing time with the home town Salukis, but he chose to chase a dream at Purdue instead. A simple Google search brought forth his Facebook profile and it looks as if he is enjoying his time at Purdue. For a walk-on that may never see the field that is the most important thing.
