Ultimate Kramer Moment
So I'm pretty sure I had the ultimate Kramer Moment yesterday. I was playing basketball at the Co Rec (for those who don't know, it's the Recreation Center at Purdue). I was playing pick up ball, had won 4 or 5 games in a row, and we were waiting for the next team to come on to the court. Lo and behold, DJ Byrd, 3 football players, and Chris Kramer walk on to the court. I proceeded to ask Kramer if this was some kind of sick joke and he replied "Naw man, this is real life." Now this story by itself could have been cool as hell even if this is all that happened. However, I was chosen to guard Chris. I'm 5'11 and 165 dripping wet, mind you, so this was a bit of a mismatch.
But, guess what... I scored on him - 3 times! AND I stole the ball from him once. We lost 15-12, which is pretty respectable considering we were ridiculously undersized and we had a girl on our team ( no offense, ladies). So, it was a pretty damn cool night. And, to make things better, I saw him out later at the bars and we kicked it like old friends... okay, not really, but we did acknowledge each other... ha! Anyway, I figured you guys would think that was pretty cool. BTFU

This is a great example of how to use a FanPost
Thanks for your report in the field. Just curious, but who were the football players, or will Danny Hope be pissed they were playing basketball during spring practice.
A futile crusade to prevent mass ignorance

I'm not exactly sure
i THINK that they were football players, at least they looked like it. I just know that they weren’t basketball players – haha
One question
Did the girl on your team have any game?

Seriously
Thats way better then my rejecting Stepheny White Co-Rec story (I know quite an accomplishment for a 6’4" man). The better part of that story was being embarrassed about the older player on our team who was maned up on her putting a new meaning to inside their shirt defense.
My brother still works at Purdue and has played with KK a few times. I think he is still more proud of guarding Rosy Colvin when we were students though :P
When I was at Purdue
A buddy and I went to the Co-Rec about 2-3 days a week to play some ball. One day when walking down the hall to the courts, I remember thinking “Man, that dude looks a lot like Chad Austin.” When we got closer, I realized it was Chad Austin, and Mike Robinson, and Gary McQuay, and Mosi Barnes, etc. About half the team was there. We waited for what seemed like forever to get on that court. We recruited McQuay to our team so we’d at least have a little size. We played against Mike Robinson, Mosi Barnes, Cam Stephens, Jamaal Davis (before they transferred) and Tony Mayfield. We held our own and lost by a closer margin than I expected. Although it’s not like the other team was giving 100%.
