ROBBIE MVP OF THE BIG TEN?
I know that nobody outside of Purdue's fan base would agree with that. The nation has fallen in love with Buckeye pointgaurd, heck they should. He has a skillset and size that would make him a great fit in the NBA and with a masterful performance in the Big Ten Tournament proved himself head and shoulders above every other player in the conference. With his 20 ppg, 6 apg, and 9 rpg he has shown he is the best player in the Big Ten but is he the most valuable?
Now, I'm not saying I disagree with anyone who takes Turner, I mean, why wouldn't they? But i feel the case can be made for Robbie and I would just like to throw an arguement out there and see how people react.

Your argument makes sense, but
I hope the team proves you TOTALLY wrong in the next 2 1/2 weeks. I bet you do too.
I think, though, with more games a player is out, it becomes considering “might have been valuable” vs being valuable, e.g. who gained his team the most wins in conference play. Injuries can take a while to adjust to, and by the time there’s a large enough sample size to judge if there’s a difference, that’s too many games a player hasn’t been valuable.
Plus, Turner was injured, too, and the Buckeyes lost at Michigan with him down. We won at an improved Penn State without Hummel.
It would be emotional for Hummel to have won the award, but this team’s focused enough that they can save any emotional runs for awards til next year…or, maybe, several days from now.
