I got to meet Adam Rittenberg this weekend at the Big Ten Tournament and thank him for his work. Here is a quality piece he did on Robert Marve.

Good guy

My buddy saw Marve and Wiggs at a birthday party this past winter and said they were both good guys. They talked about football and Wiggs said he kicked a 67 yrd fg in practice.

If ND is #1 and national champ, they will still be overrated to me.

excited

For the first time since we fumbled our season away with Orton. Not that we are loaded on defense like Orton’s teams used to be, but at least we now have two very exciting and speedy quarterbacks with big-time experience in Marve and Siller(hoping). Personally, I think Siller and Marve are both guys that could start almost anywhere in the Big-Ten. I hope we get at least one of them to full potential.

Is Siller coming back?

I hadn’t heard anything definite about him coming back, and from the sound of it Coach Hope and the rest of the staff seem perfectly happy with either Marve or TerBush. I don’t know if they want to add a 3rd QB back into the mix, especially one who has had his own set of problems.

Marve has the experience and speed. TerBush has size (6’5 225lbs) and from what I’ve heard a huge amount of raw talent and is learning quickly. If the receiving core and backfield can make similar strides, our offense could be one of the best in the county.

BTFU!

Siller is making overtures to come back

I don’t know if he plays QB with TerBush, Robinson, and Henry in the mix too. I am wondering if he moves to receiver or safety.

A futile crusade to prevent mass ignorance

Has he been accepted back to school yet?

As I understood it, that was going to be his biggest hurdle. I could see him as a receiver, or even a dual use, Percy Harvin-like utility player that can line up in the backfield from time to time and always be a threat for the option or halfback pass.

Safety could be a good option too, but I just don’t see him back in the QB mix…

BTFU!
