Best of all, I am already at home from the championship. It’s been a fantastic weekend. I’ll have a wrap post tomorrow.

They should have the Boilers shown....
…in Robbie’s hospital room when we’re announced.
Nobody cares about your fantasy baseball team
Yeah Tmill
I both envied you and pitied you yesterday. The envy for obvious reasons- being a part of something so cool- the pity for not being able to run and hide after the game. Way to man up and stick it out.
Thank you.
My mother kept calling me to ask where I was and going nuts when she said I was on TV. Honestly, it was freaking amazing to be so close. The only way I would have been closer would have been to sit in Wohlford’s lap on the bench.

It all ends in Indy

What would be better, high 4 or low 3?
Hard to say. I’d love to play Duke in the sweet sixteen though. We will get matched up as a 4 with Kansas though. Wherever we are, probably Kansas is in our bracket.
I still say three
although I am liking the fours that have us with Syracuse.

the play a zone
and we can’t shoot. not a good matchup
So Duke gets the other #1
Fair assessment, I think. At least its not West Virginia

They're not the 3rd best team in the country though.

Hate to say this but....
Not against a 16 or 8 seed. They will be outed probably by the 2 seed in their bracket.
They have to play outside of NC
I’ll take my chances with someone knocking them off before the Elite 8

1 seeds
kansas, kentucky, duke, syracuse
midwest, east, south, west
1, 2, 3, 4
I'm comforted to think that...
out of 65 teams, 64 of them will also be losers.
I think it would be hilarious
To give Indiana an at large bid and make them play in the play-in game to lose to a SWAC team.

I would actually like to see that happen
screw minnesota, put IU in the play in game
I dont know about that
Iowa beat the 3rd or 4th place SWAC team by 38. I think Indiana might win by 5

not a 3.
11 seed. 3 seeds below UNLV (an 8)
whom they beat twice, tied in conference regular season standings

Looked at the blog
nowhere close as good as this one- they are playing a “what if” scenario- sounds like they weren’t too sure about getting in. I like the matchup- more worried about A & M
Unselfish reasons to root for USU
It’d be too cool if their student section could get the “winning team losing team” chant going.
But that is looking too far ahead already.

Hasbrouck stats from last year
averaged 14.6 points/game, 3.5 rebounds/game, 2.8 assists/game, 2.0 steals/game
Texas A&M is not a bad draw.
There’s been talk about Roland coming back from his broken leg in the tournament. Will be interesting to see hwo that plays out.
Anyone else
Gonna avoid ESPN talking about the tourney until we play. I dont wanna us as the upset special all week.

Siena basic preview
looks like a 7 to 8 man rotation.
Team shoots 42.7% from the field, 32.9% from 3 pt range, 63.6% from the free throw line.
14.5 assists/game, outrebounded opponents by 4.1/game, 12.2 turnovers/game.
three players above 6’7". all three play.

I was watching that one and hoping for the upset
Siena's performance against quality opponents
against RPI top 50:
lost @Temple by 4
lost @Butler by 17
lost @Northern Iowa by 17
lost @Georgia Tech by 13
21 of their 27 wins against sub 100 RPI teams
Probably a dumb question
but when do they determine the tip off times for the games?
by septimusharding on Mar 14, 2010 7:12 PM EDT reply actions
Since we're playing on the west coast...
…It will be a 3pm tip at the EARLIEST. More likely that it’s 8pm-10:30pm though. Perfect for the bars.
thanks for everyone who has stopped by this weekend
It has been wildly successful. I am going to take a much needed break tonight and get into some Siena stuff, as well as a tourney wrap tomorrow. In the meantime, I have posted a few Siena links as FanShots on the front page.
