Well my fellow Boiler fans, it has been quite the year with ACL tears running rampant through our football team and not to mention their strategic targeting of a crucial piece of the basketball team. The football season has been ugly and many 'analysts' along with some of the Boiler Nation have written off the basketball season as well. I for one refuse to admit that the apocalypse is here in that regard.

This team has two potential All-Americans returning, we return our starting PG who is back at 100 percent, we have depth at all positions this year (albeit young depth upfront), and a pair of incoming guards both by the name of Johnson that appear to be ready to step it up at the college level. If the world had never heard of Robbie Hummel that would  be a recipe for a consensus top 5 team.

The loss of Hummel cannot be understated but this still can be a special year. So believe Boiler faithful... believe.
