Offer up quick prayer to your deity of choice, please
Spotted this over on the GBI basketball forum when I got home. It is from a regular poster by the handle of TwinDegrees2, who has been supporting the Boilers while continuing to ask for prayer and support from the basketball community for his wife who was battling brain cancer:
Last evening, my wife lost her battle with brain cancer. She passed away at 10:28 PM after the Boiler game, getting one last win.
As she struggled to continue life, I lay the speaker by her ear and I'm quite sure that she left knowing they got one more win for her as I and my family rooted for that victory.
Thanks to all who sent wishes, offered help, and prayed to help her fight the good fight.
I'm sure that I will continue to cheer for each and every PU victory as an honor to her memory. I may even put on one of her PU sweatshirts, as she usually did, when the Boilers play.
As she would say, "Boiler Up". - TwinDegrees 2
