Welcome to the Fold: Sean Robinson
We pick up commitment number five, and it may be the best to date. Robinson is a 3-star prospect according to both Rivals and Scout. Rivals has him as the #10 dual-threat QB in the nation, so there is a strong chance he could upgrade to a 4-star guy.
This makes the 2010 QB competition even more crowded. Marve, Henry, TerBush Tyler, and potentially Siller are already on board. Henry, Siller, and Marve are all dual-threat guys as well. It should be very interesting, especially since Robinson has the most size.

Congrats
Robinson is an excellent get, considering his meteoric rise this summer culminating with scholarship offers from across the country. Guess he didn’t feel like waiting for Notre Dame to offer him. Here’s his highlight video
His combination of arm-strength and speed is just uncanny and will be a future star for the ’makers.

After the way Weiss...
handled the brief Demetrius Jones era at ND, I doubt many dual threat QBs would want to go there.
The football yearbook said he is planning on returning
It said multiple times in the quarterback preview that he is going to get himself back in school and try to return. He would have two years left as well, just like Marve. It would give us a crowded depth chart of talented players for two seasons because none of them would be seniors in 2010. I suppose there is the possibility of Mave going pro early if he wins the starting job and has a dynamite season, but who knows.
Right now I would say Robinson redshirts in 2010 with Henry and/or Tyler, Marve, TerBush, and Siller all being unable to redshirt. Siller could also move back to running back with that depth.
