Marve out with torn ACL
Our new QB is now damaged goods and won't be able to practice until at least October. This will put him further behind TerBush and probably Rob Henry for the starting job in 2010.

Depending on your guys' facilities and training staff...
Marve should be good to go come 2011. What you should be thankful for is that this happened now, midsummer, and not late August, like Oregon’s Nate Costa last year.
His recovery also depends on his surgery tactic. If they use his own tissue, say, his meniscus – he could and should be in shipshape for your 2010 campaign.
Question – what year will he be/eligibility will he have come 2010 when he can finally play?

He'll be a redshirt junior with two years left
He redshirted his first year at Miami, mostly because of injuries sustained in a car accident. He then played one year, and will lose a year this season because of his transfer.
I am not too worried because we have some pretty good guys that will challenge him if he can’t go.

I still say the guy never sees the field for Purdue....
Just a gut feeling.
Nobody cares about your fantasy baseball team
