Battle of Black and Gold

The tip time has been set for the Big Ten/ACC Challenge matchup in West Lafayette this year. On December 1, Wake Forest will infiltrate Mackey Arena and learn a little bit about how we do it in the Big Ten. While the nancies from North Carolina are shivering from the Indiana December temps, it'll be the perfect opportunity to run them out of the gym, starting at 7 PM Eastern.

Hey, Wake, did you see what we did to Davidson last year? Do you have anyone like Steph Curry? Yeah, I didn't think so.

What the hell is a Demon Deacon, anyway?

No, but I saw what happened against Duke in your building.

Looking forward to the game. Should be a nice early season test for both teams.

I think a healthy dose of Robbie Hummel should take care of this one

Last year, he was injured. This year, he has new bionic parts for his body. Ladies and Gentlemen, the new and improved six million dollar man.

Wake ain't Duke

I think we can all agree on that.

But yeah, I was just being a jerk for the hell of it. Which I think you obviously caught on to, as you didn’t rip me.

I think it’ll be a terrific early-season test and, much like last year, will show us where we are. Gotta win those kinds of home games if you want to be a serious top ten team with Final Four aspirations.

Well....

I mean, why stop there? Let’s aim for top 1!

I would be thrilled with top ten all year long, because that means you’re a 2-3 seed and a Final Four is more than a reasonable goal. Rankings don’t mean much to me…. it’s postseason performance that I care about.
