No Bull sh**, Buffalo at Purdue open thread

Buffalo Bulls at Purdue Boilermakers, Dec 5, 2009 5:00 PM EST

I would have some video of a classic game in this series, but this is the first time we have ever played Buffalo. Buffalo has only been a full division 1 member since the mid-90's. They are the only current MAC program we have never faced. This is a last-minute replacement for Ball State, whom we have to move to the Wooden Tradition in Indy here in a few weeks.

Why is this important? I don't know. Let's face it, this is supposed to be a walkover game. Boilerdowd will be watching from the Corporate Seats as he calls them. I have to work covering my beloved Kats at Fishers tonight. I might be able to comment along during the first half, however.

Looking a little flat offensively so far

I think we’re becoming a second half team. I am okay witht hat.

Good sequence by barlow there

Steal and assist to Kramer. very nice. People lose track of him on the court and he makes them pay.

Please tell me someone was recording that dunk, or at least got a picture. Wow, what a dunk. A little lob by Keaton and JJ throws downw ith both hands while his defender is wiping his face. fantastic!!!!!!!!!

Ask and ye shall receive

I posted this – along with the Barlow ankle breaker – on youtube pretty much immediately after seeing them while the game was still going on. Don’t you love the internet?

Fantastic defense again

Hopefully the Paint Crew won’t run out of numbers for the Defense Lives Here sign.

Excellent first half

looks like I was wrong about a slow offensive start. This should be a very comfortable win now.

Every night I have this strange dream where Robbie actually hits threes.

Some day it will happen.

However, it’s really nice to finally have someone that can drive to the basket. Jackson showed a little bit of ability last year, but Barlow just seems to have more of a killer instinct than him. And some strange knack for coming up with long rebounds.

That's good.

He’ll turn it on eventually

It's just getting painful to watch...

3/26 from deep in the last 5.5 games. Wow.

Wow, tough break for the Buckeyes.

Turner is out at least 8 weeks with two fractured vertebrae. That means he’ll miss at least one game against the Boilers, possibly two.

Hate to see a great player get hurt like that.

Covering the Kokomo at Fishers game tonight here in the Indy area. I think this game is in good hands at the moment.

15-16 from the line for the starters tonight

Good to see the solid FT shooting continue. That’s going to be big huge in the tournament.

I got last minute tickets to the game....

…and have one thing to say:

Kelsey Barlow, I’m sorry I ever doubted you. Please keep playing like this the rest of the year. Awesome.

Nobody cares about your fantasy baseball team
