Welcome to the Fold: Tracking Edition week 14

Just because our season is over does not mean these feature ends. Many of our guys are still alive in their respective state playoffs, but a few more went down this week. In particular, the Florida playoffs began this week for our Lakeland, Mainland, and Cocoa guys.

Star-divide

Sean Robinson - QB - Rochester, IL (Rochester) - Robinson's dream of leading Rochester to a class 4A state championship in Illinois is over. Rochester dropped a heartbreaker 41-40 against Metamora in the state semifinal. Robinson pulled the Rockets within 41-40 on a touchdown pass with 3.8 seconds left, but was stopped a yard short of the goal line when going for two and the win. Robinson finished the day with 103 yards rushing, 141 yards passing, and two touchdowns each way. Here is Sean talking about the end of the game.

Joe Gilliam - LB - Southport, IN (Southport) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Charles Torwudzo - WR - Brownsburg, IN (Brownsburg) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Jeremy Cornelius - WR - Harrisburg, PA (Bishop McDevitt) - Bishop McDevitt cruised in its second round tournament game, beating Governor Mifflin 49-7. Cornelius did not have any stats in the easy win. Bishop McDevitt will face Penn Manor in the next round.

De'Ron Flood - TE - O'Fallon, IL (O'Fallon) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Josh Davis - DT - Plain City, OH (Jonathan Alder) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Mike Lee - LB - Pittsburgh, PA (Woodland Hills) - Woodland Hills held on late to win its playoff game this week over Bethel Park 38-35 in overtime. Lee had a touchdown catch as a tight end in the win.

Ryan Isaac - DE - Michigan City, IN (Michigan City) - SEASON COMPLETE.

E.J. Johnson - DB - Cocoa, FL (Cocoa) - Johnson and the Tigers began their title defense with an easy 35-6 win over Orlando Jones this week. They now get a rematch with Astronaut in round two, whom they already soundly defeated. Johnson had an interception in this one. As always, this comes with video highlights.

Will Lucas - LB - Lakeland, FL (Lakeland) - Lakeland easily won its first round playoff game 41-8 over Winter Springs. Lakeland is expected to only be challenged by #1 (in the nation) St. Thomas Aquinas. Lakeland football continues to be slow in posting their stats. They are about 2 weeks behind on totals.

Jesse Schmitt - LS - Louisville, KY (Trinity) - Trinity kept its strong run going with a 31-6 win over Louisville Male. They continue to be the hardest team to find info on, but they are at least in the Class 6A state semifinals.

Jhony Faustin - DB - Naples, FL (Lely) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Isaiah Williams - WR - Miami, FL (Monsignor Pace) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Cody Webster - P - Harrisburg, PA (Central Dauphin East) - SEASON COMPLETE.

Reggie Pegram - RB - Dallas, TX (James Madison) - SEASON COMPLETE.

O.J. Ross - WR - Daytona, FL (Mainland) - Mainland also opened the Florida playoffs with a 29-14 win over Sandalwood. Ross had two catches for 12 yards.

Chevin Davis - WR - Daytona, FL (Mainland) - Chevin Davis played some running back in this one and had a 26 yard touchdown run to ice the game. He also caught five passes for 61 yards.

Ricardo Allen - DB - Daytona, FL (Mainland) - There is no mention of Allen in this one, but here is another game story for the Mainland trio. They now get a rematch with DeLand, whom Mainland beat 21-14 for their only loss on the season.
