McKinley dismissed from team...

I guess not coming to practice will do that....what an idiot.

Junior safety Josh McKinley has been dismissed from the team.

Hope said McKinley, who started two games this season, wasn't coming to practice.

"He stopped coming to practices so he's dismissed," Hope said.

Redshirt freshman Gavin Roberts moves up to No. 2 behind Dwight Mclean

On Roberts:
"He's got some physical tools," Hope said. "He doesn't know a whole lot about playing his position right now and he's way behind. He's a guy that we are going to have to develop down the road, anyway, so there's your opportunity."

I don't understand that quote at all. Why doesn't he know a whole lot? Here's a guy who, with the entire secondary graduating next year, is a frontrunner for a starting role in 2010 and he's "way behind"?
